CH.03 — Formulation

Four actives.
Trial-level doses.

No proprietary blends. Quantities, standardisation, and source-trial citation are published per active. Excipient profile and allergen status are listed in the supplementary spec table.

Tongkat Ali

Eurycoma longifolia (root, 200:1 extract)
200 mg / day22% Eurycomanone

The cornerstone of the formula. Multiple randomised trials in men aged 40–65 show Tongkat Ali at this dose lowers cortisol and SHBG, increases free testosterone, and improves muscle force output over a 4–12 week course. Sourced from Malaysian growers.

Job Raise free testosterone, lower stress hormones.

Studies Talbott 2013, Henkel 2014, George 2014.

Fenugreek

Trigonella foenum-graecum (seed, 50% saponins)
600 mg / daySTD. EXTRACT

The libido and drive lever. Multiple double-blind trials in healthy aging men report meaningful improvements in sexual function, morning energy, and mood at this dose over 8–12 weeks. Effects on serum testosterone are inconsistent — but the felt outcomes are robust.

Job Support libido, drive, mood.

Studies Rao 2016, Wankhede 2016, Steels 2011.

Zinc

Zinc bisglycinate chelate
15 mg / day150% NRV

Required by the Leydig cells in the testes to actually synthesise testosterone. Roughly one in three men over 50 in U.S. intake studies falls short of the recommended daily amount. We use the bisglycinate form for tolerability and absorption.

Job Close a near-universal deficiency.

Studies Prasad 1996, Netter 1981.

Vitamin D3

Cholecalciferol (lichen-derived)
2,000 IU / day1000% NRV

More hormone than vitamin. Receptors for D3 sit on testosterone-producing cells. Northern-latitude wintertime deficiency runs above 60% in middle-aged men. Restoring D3 to clinically adequate levels has, in deficient populations, produced measurable testosterone increases.

Job Close a second near-universal deficiency.

Studies Pilz 2011, Wehr 2010.

APPENDIXBCompound exclusions
Excluded compounds / Documented rationale

Excluded by design.

Compounds commonly observed in commercial men's-vitality units that were assessed and excluded from the protocol. Rationale per compound below.

// NOT INCLUDED

Tribulus Terrestris

Largely failed in well-controlled human trials. Persistent in marketing, absent in our formula.

// NOT INCLUDED

D-Aspartic Acid

Initial trials showed promise; follow-up trials in trained men showed no effect or, in some, a decrease.

// NOT INCLUDED

Maca

A perfectly fine adaptogen — but it doesn't move testosterone. We don't put filler on the label.
